Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Bridgeport, Washington. Graduated from California State University-Chico when I was 42. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 11, in 1981. I quickly became inactive, and didn't come back to the church until 1994. I am a husband and have 3 children. I graduated from CSU-Chico in 2011 when I was 42. I love playing video games, cooking, fishing, rafting and hanging out with friends talking about sports, especially football. I love to travel to eat. Food is very important to me, and I love experiencing food from all cultures. I have even eaten grasshopper tacos! I work in the tech industry and I marvel at how much computer technology has grown in the last 20 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. The Holy Ghost has born witness to me that Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw in that grove of trees. I know that Jesus Christ restored His church trough Joseph Smith and that He continually provides revelation to the leaders of the church today. I have a personal witness that Jesus Christ is my savior. That through Him, I can one day return to live with my Father in Heaven. Even though it is sometimes hard to live as Christ would have us live, I know that it is worth every trial. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the prophet and other church leaders. I work with the full time missionaries, helping to teach those that are curious about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I also teach Gospel Principles during Sunday School. I am always willing to answer questions friends and co-workers have about the gospel. I support my boys in their work in the Boy Scouts.
