Hi I'm Chun-Man

I grew up in Hong Kong till I was 9 and moved to California. I love the restored Gospel with all my heart. I'm a LDS member.

About Me

I am 26 years of age currently majoring in Elementary Education at Brigham Young University of Idaho. I love to read the Ensign, which is a monthly magazine published by the church. Some of my hobbies are playing the piano, singing, dancing, hanging out with friends, watch movies, teaching, and learning to learn new skills and things everyday. I served a full-time two year mission for the LDS church in Toronto, Canada, where I devoted every minute, every thought, every ounce of energy, and everything that God has blessed me with to share the wonderful news of the restored Gospel to everyone that I came across.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with my parents being already members so they initially took me to church each Sunday. However, even though I was a member early on in my life I did not quite know at that time that the church was true. One thing I knew growing up was that the things they teach in the church are definitely, without a doubt, very good. Good enough that even if anyone follows the teachings in would lead a happy and successful life. It wasn't until I sincere read and prayed about the Book of Mormon that the Holy Ghost gave me a feeling in my heart that I could not deny. A sure feeling that the church was not just good, but true. We do not want you to feel obligated or forced to investigate or study about the message of the restored gospel, but we love to invite literally everyone to hear about the message of the fullness of the gospel, about our purpose in this life, and about how families can live together forever beyond this life.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith by obeying all the commandments of God because they lead people to live righteous and happy lives. Some might believe commandments restrain our agency or freedom to choose to do what we want, but it is by disobedience the commandments that one ultimately and eventually loses their agency in the long scheme of things. I go home-teaching other members of the church weekly or monthly where we visit others to share gospel messages and making sure they are doing alright with life. I read my scriptures and pray daily in the morning, afternoon, and before bed time. I pray that I will be blessed with opportunity to share the message of the restored gospel to others and also for opportunity to serve those in need.
