Hi I'm Carys Robertson

I grew up in Cambridgeshire, England. I am an accounting and finance student and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I live at home with my family (Mum, Dad, 2 brothers and a sister) who I think are wonderful and love loads. I am currently studying an Accounting and Finance degree and I work as a Payroll Administrator but I am not as boring as all that sounds. I make up for my sometimes un-exciting studies with my love of team games and other fun activities. I am slightly competitive... and I just think they are a great way to spend time with friends and family and have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and knows me individually. I know that Jesus Christ is His son and that he lived a perfect life and took upon him the sins of the world so that I do not have to bear the burdens that we can often face on earth. I know that he did this because he loves me and wants the best for me. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan individual for each of us and if we follow this plan we can find happiness. I know that from reading the Book of Mormon and praying about this we can find the right path for me to choose to live my life.

How I live my faith

I serve with the youth which I think is a great experience. They teach me so much and I hope I help them learn too. I try to live my life as Christ would have me, looking for opportunities that I can seize to help those around me even if sometimes all I can give is a listening ear and a loving embrace. Jesus loves everyone and see the potential that all of us have and so I strive to see this in those around me also. Our faith is centred around our families and this is something that helps bring us closer together by supporting and love one another. To do this I try to be a peacemaker within my home and avoid contention with each other.
