Hi I'm Jean

I am a retired inventory manager, married with 3 children and 13 grandchildren, just an ordinary grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and learn new things. I enjoy challenging myself to stretch and grow. Gardening is fun as well. But the thing I love most is spending time with my family, children, and grandchildren. They make my life worthwhile.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church and was baptized at age 8, there had to come a time when I knew for sure that this was a life I wanted to live forever, and not just something I took for granted and had always just lived. At age 16, when I was taking an extracurricular religion class in high school, I had the strong impression come to me that what I was living and learning was really true and even though my life has not been perfect and I have made mistakes and don't always live up to my potential, I have never doubted that this gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to true happiness, both in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I especially enjoy teaching in the church. As a gospel doctrine teacher, we are studying the Old Testament and I love the stories and lessons we learn from the Bible. The class members have such great insights and I learn so much from them each week. I live in a great area and great community and I try to find ways to give back for the many blessings I have received in my life.
