Hi I'm Jono

I grew in two countries, Australia and England. I love everything Japanese ( the food, culture, anime and swords). I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Mormon church, I have only recently gained a testimony. I currently work part-time for my parents and I am a qualified Carpet Cleaner. I spend most of my time either watching Anime or reading Manga, which are like Japanese cartoons, but I do enjoy sports as well. I have traveled to America recently and i loved it. I have also been to Paris, New Zealand, England and traveled all around Australia. I love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that it is true. I know that this is the same church that Christ had when he was on the Earth. I know that God is my loving father in heaven and that he not only hears my prayers but answers them. I know the Book of Mormon is a true book and that is speaks the words of God as unto the Bible. I know that God is the same now and forever and that he has called a Prophet on the earth today and that Prophet is Thomas. S. Monson. I know these things are true because i have done as the Prophet Moroni instructed and asked God through prayer. And I have received an answer directly from God that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures and saying prayers regularly, and living the teachings of the prophets. I attend church every Sunday and fulfill my calling as an assistant to the Bishop. During the week I attend a YSA (Young Single Adult) class and also visit some families as a home teacher. I live the gospel knowing that it is not easy but do so with the knowledge that I will receive many great blessing, not just in my live but in the lives of my family as well. Sometimes I fail to do everything and that's OK because I am not perfect but through faith in Jesus Christ I may be able to repent and start over. If you are progressing you are worthy.
