Hi I'm Thomas

I was raised in a military family, I create music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I just finished my freshman year and am about to serve a full time mission for the church in Chile. My hobbies include creating, playing, and recording music, hiking, and any sports.

Why I am a Mormon

At first I was a Mormon because that's how I was raised. Gradually my faith increased on a more personal level, but it was not until my first year of college that I had to decide if this was really the true church. I knew it was in my heart, but I never really questioned it before. I read the entire Book of Mormon throughout my freshman year. I had read it many times before, but doing it while I was away at college really strengthened my testimony. It was this combined with my decision to serve a mission that invited the spirit more fully into my life. The Holy Ghost is what gives you your witness, and once he is felt, there is absolutely no denying it.

How I live my faith

As a freshman at BYU I had the opportunity to be very active in my ward, as most of it was run by the students, except for the bishop and his counselors. After taking on greater responsibilities, and coming to church on my own free will, I have seen the blessings the Lord gives to those who do their best to keep his commandments.
