Hi I'm Garrett

I grew up in Utah. I'm preparing to share the gospel and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being in the mountains near where I live, hunting and fishing. I'm always up for a hike anywhere. I ride mountain bikes and ATVs. I especially love winter sports like cross country skiing and snowmobiling. I've grown up working on the family farm and have learned to work hard. I'm preparing to serve a full-time mission to help others come to know of God's love for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. I was raised by parents who know the truth of the Gospel, but I never quite knew for myself If it was really true. One day, I realized that I didn't really know for myself that being a Mormon was a right thing to do. I started studying my scriptures and prayed to know if it was true. It took a while, but I received my answer. I was feeling very lost and alone one day, full of doubts I had and about all the things I didn't know. I then felt impressed to kneel down and pray, which I did. I asked God if he was really there and if being a member of His church was really what he wanted me to do. I got my answer. I can tell you today that God lives. He loves us. He sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and die for us so we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my religion by serving as the secretary in the church youth group. I help to plan activities with other youth and leaders. One of my most important duties is to help bless the sacramental bread and water every week. In the very near future, I'm going to serve a mission. I am going to dedicate two years of my life to the Lord so that maybe I can help someone else know what I know, that God lives and loves us and that he sent his son here to save us if we will follow him.
