Hi I'm Collin

Reading, SpongeBob, and fried chicken are 3 of my 4 favorite things, the other one is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I love Utah so much! In high school I acted in the school musicals, played football, wrestled, and ate Oreo shakes and bean burritos. I am called to serve a mission in Taiwan. I love reading all types of things whether it be history, classical literature, modern literature, poetry, short stories, comic strips, you name it and I probably like reading it. I am in the Army and am proud to serve my country. I am go to school in New York and enjoy almost every minute of it. Studio C (a skit-comedy show produced by BYU) is one of my obsessions and I am not afraid to admit it. My faith, family, country, and friends mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I trusted my parents' and church leaders' counsel to find out for myself whether The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true instead of taking their word for it. I read The Book of Mormon in 9th grade and prayed to know if it was true and the Lord answered my prayer. The Holy Ghost testified of its truthfulness. So that is how I became a Mormon. Why I remain a Mormon is because no other way of living has given me the clarity of mind, the physical vigor, or the hope for the future that The Church of Jesus Christ has given me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying Jesus Christ's teachings to my daily life. I live my faith by treating each day as a new opportunity to live closer to the way Jesus taught His children to live. I live my faith by serving a mission in Taiwan and serving my country in the Army. I live my faith by trying to treat the people around me with love and respect just like Jesus wants me to.
