Hi I'm Ray

I grew up in the beautiful Islands of Samoa. I was born in the church and raised in a LDS Campus call Vaiola. I am a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Moloka Leonard Ray Obley. I am currently serving in New Jersey Morristown Mission. I am a Samoan. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters, I am the seventh in the family also the youngest of 5 boys. One of my little sister the 8th passed away when she was a baby. She's happy! She is to precious to be on this wicked world. I love my parents, especially I love my nieces and nephews I have 6 of them :) In the year 2012 September 24th I was called by God to serve in New Jersey Morristown Mission. Its a humbling experience to travel all the way from Samoa to NJ long away from home to find my serve my God and his children here. I love my family and help them with daily chores, cleaning and cooking. I love helping my friends and others. I love playing sports every evening outside the beautiful tropical weather. I love participating in school and church activities and dances also serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon. Raised in a beautiful LDS Church Campus call Vaiola meaning "Living Water!" I am proud for everything Heavenly Father has put into my life. I am a Mormon because I came to know that The Church of Jesus Christ existed before it was lost. All because of God's Love, he answered a young boy name Joseph Smith's faithful prayer who searched the heavens for truth. God and The Son appeared to him to restore ALL TRUTH and to bring back The Church of Jesus Christ to help God's children prepare themselves for the Second Coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. Truth was revealed and will continually be revealed through revelations when heavens are searched for guidance. God spoke to his children and still he is now speaking to us through prophets like always. The Book of Mormon is evidence to that. I love being a Mormon. I am a sinner trying to follow the footsteps of my Savior, I will never be perfect but can be clean when we live what he left for us to be lived for eternal purposes.

How I live my faith

I love going to church because it makes me feel closer to our Heavenly Father, reading scriptures and listening to the words of the modern days prophets and apostles and strive to live them. I love serving our Heavenly Father in the church by using my given talents to build his kingdom. I love sharing the Gospel and how it blesses myself and my loved ones. I love knowing that I am a son of God that he's always loving me and answering my prayers. Having the knowledge of knowing that each and everyone of us are his children means that we can become like him. Its a a blessing to be able to feel the love of God in my life through the people that he has sent me to tell me that he loves me truly. I have grown up to know that life has an eternal perspective.
