Hi I'm Chloe

I'm from Arlington, Virginia. I go to school at BYU. I'm a missionary in the Chile Santiago North Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my freshman year at Brigham Young University and I absolutely loved it. I'm from the DC area, so I'm a huge Nationals fan (baseball). History, politics, and current events are what interests me the most. I love country music and love it even more in the summer time. I play the piano and the violin, although not very well because I was never that great at practicing. I've danced my whole life (ballet mostly), so I enjoy anything dance related. I have a mom, dad, two little brothers and a huge extended family who I love spending time with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the true happiness and clarity it brings into my life. Without the gospel of Jesus Christ, I would be very lost and not know who I am. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I know that Heavenly Father knows all of us personally and loves us more than we can understand. I know that Jesus died for us, so that through him we can be cleansed and return to live in heaven again. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that by reading and studying it, we can feel the Spirit and learn so much.

How I live my faith

When I was at school this past year I was a Sunday School teacher, so I taught a lesson to about 15 people every other week at church. I loved the opportunity that I had to teach because it forced me to learn and study more about the topic, and it also improved my teaching skills. I am a very soon-to-be missionary in the Chile Santiago North Mission. I report to the Missionary Training Center in Santiago, Chile on July 2nd and will spend the next 18 months teaching people about the gospel and our church and serving them.
