Hi I'm Andrew MacFarlane

I'm from England, i'm a football fanatic, i'm a missionary in the Scotland Ireland Mission and of course I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Things I like to do are playing sports, my favourite being football but I like others like badminton, tennis. I come from a competitive family where we are always trying to beat each other and do stuff better than the rest of us. I started training as a mechanical engineer. I am now a Full time missionary serving in the Scotland Ireland Mission and loving it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a third generation Mormon in my family, so I was raised in the church and like my parents I have had to get my own testimony of the church. I have had lots of experiences in my life and have prayed and have found this to be the true church and that the book of Mormon is true and that there is a living god. In being a Mormon it has shown me the importance of having a family and sticking together which brings me and my family together.

How I live my faith

I share my beliefs with all my friends and with pretty much everyone i speak to. My calling at church is a primary teacher, I teach the 4-7 years old and I teach up to 8 kids all but two being boys. When I see them outside of church, they always shout my name which makes me feel good. I also do hometeaching with my dad we have been partners five years now, we teach up to five families. My dad is a great example to me as he makes sure we go every month and we have not missed a month since I have been with him. I also help the missionaries in doing a football activity which we do every week, which is a really good laugh.
