Hi I'm Gina

Hi, I've moved around the USA a lot. I'm fairly average. I love to read. And yes I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just moved from California to Idaho. I'm living with my Grandparents to help them out. I love to read, watch TV, Movies. I love stories. I enjoy arts and crafts. I would consider myself to be somewhat of a geek. I love comics and sci-fi.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. Baptized when I was 8 years old. At the time I understood it was important, but now I have a much better understanding of what a blessing it is to be a member of this church. There have been times in my life when I haven't actively participated in the church. Looking back those were very difficult and dark times in my life. I'm just always so much happier when I follow the teachings of the gospel. Going back to church has felt like returning home to a loving family. It's a place where I belong and where I am loved. It's a community where I am nurtured and grow, and where I have the opportunity to help others. I've attended services and activities at other churches with friends, and it's very nice, but for me it isn't home. I have found so many answers to such hard questions. I honestly don't know what I'd do without The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have found such amazing truth here, and happiness, peace, and love.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings weekly. I try to pray throughout the day and read scriptures. I'm big on helping others. When I'm able to help someone be happy, or ease their hurts I feel really wonderful.

What is faith?

Gina
To one degree or another everyone has to live by some faith. The important thing is to decide what to have faith in. Or in other words to know what you believe in. We can't see the future and know exactly where our choices will lead us. We can't know what the Lord has planned for us. To me faith is doing my best to live the way I think Heavenly Father would want me to live each day. It's also going forward with hope. Show more Show less
