Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm from Arizona. I love the outdoors, sports, and music, and am currently serving a mission in Italy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with one older brother until my parents were divorced when I was fourteen. Now I have five step siblings and a lot of crazy family drama. I went to four different High Schools, and then a year of college. I have played sports like softball and volleyball since I could walk, and I have always loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially camping. I love music, and grew up playing the clarinet and piano, and I also love to sing. I love art; drawing, painting, and ceramics is mostly what I do. I have also worked at flower shops for about three years, and spent the whole year of college working as a floral designer, and I absolutely loved it. Now I have been called to serve in the Italy Rome mission. I reported the 17th of September 2014 an will server for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and up until my parents were divorced and my world flipped there was no question, I knew all of the facts which pointed to the conclusion that this was the true gospel. When the world I had always known began to crumble right before me, I lost my sense of its purpose. I really didn't know what to believe as a young impressionable fourteen year old. As things only got worse between my dad and I, I realized that I had stopped doing the little things completely; like reading my scriptures, praying, and attending the youth activities. Now that I look back I realize that I lost sight of the church because part of the testimony that I had been banking off of, was my father's. watching him make decisions that weren't always the best and went against what we believed shook me and I didn't really understand. With a lot of work I can now say that I believe, before I had the facts, I hadn't really found out for my self and felt the truth of it in my heart. I know without a doubt, that this church is true and that the savior died so that I can live, and always have a chance to once again turn to him.

How I live my faith

Daily. I am serving a mission which means for a full 18 months I am completely devoted to the Lord and his will as I serve and teach those around me. I have always loved service, and all of the opportunities there are to help those around you.
