Hi I'm Abigail Allen

I am a college student, a dancer and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Freshman in college. I attend Brigham Young university-Idaho campus. I am studying nursing. However, my passion is dancing! I have been dancing since I was 6 years old and hope to some day own my own dance studio. I love to perform. I spent 3 years in a group that did triple-threat (acting, singing, dancing) performances. I played volleyball all four years of high school and loved every second of it! I am a soon-to-be missionary for the Mormon church. I will be serving in the Argentina Buenos Aries West mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon is simple. I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's true church. I know that the doctrine contained in this church is 100% true. I have come to know this through prayer and scripture study. So many events in my life have lead me to this knowledge. My Heavenly Father has answered my prayers and has told me in my heart that the Book of Mormon is true, that families can be together forever, and that I can return to be with Him again. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have a prophet now who is the mouth piece of the Lord. He leads and guides us righteously. I have learned that Christ atoned for every ones sins and that through Him, the son of God, we can receive forgiveness. I know with all my heart that this gospel is God's gospel. I have seen many blessings in my life that have come from this church. I love my Savior with all my heart and that is why I strive to follow Him by living the teachings of the Mormon church which I know to also be the teachings of Christ.

How I live my faith

I love the unity that the LDS (Mormon) church has. I feel as though my church is my family! We all build each other up and encourage each other to do better each day. Through visit teaching I get the opportunity to visit some of the girls in my church and get to know them. I get to offer to serve them and help them in any way I can. The love that I feel for my fellow church members is immense. Each and everyone of them is such an example to me of love and kindness. I enjoy teaching Sunday School because it allows me to share my love for God.
