Hi I'm Misae

I was born in Okinawa, Japan, I came to America when I was 13, I love gardening and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful German man, and we are the parents of four amazing children. We have four grandchildren, and we love to spend time with them. I love gardening, and spend much of my time at home outside, enjoying the beautiful Southern weather as I work in my yard. I am an artist in many ways as well. I love painting and I am also a hair stylist.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to America at thirteen, afraid and with no knowledge of God. I was confused and wanted to find truth. I saw many different churches and wanted to know which one was the true church. I prayed, and God led me to the missionaries and through them I was taught the things I had been wanting to know. I was baptized a few years later, and married my wonderful German husband, who also joined the church. Throughout my life, I have tried to follow Jesus Christ and His teachings. I know now who Jesus is--that He is the son of our loving Heavenly Father, and that He died for me. Because of that, I need to make a continuous effort to live up to His teachings everyday.

How I live my faith

Because of the knowledge and guidance that the gospel has given me, I want to share it with everyone I see, whether at my salon or in the community. I love our Savior Jesus Christ, and I try to help everyone feel His love in their lives. I also do a lot of family history work, and attend a class about it at our church. I love my family, and doing family history work allows me to connect to my ancestors and learn more about where I came from.
