Hi I'm Curt

I am the youngest of three kids. I am a rugby player. I am serving a mission in the Chile Santiago North mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies include playing rugby and anything outdoors. My dad would take me camping a lot because I am his only boy. For school, I am going to go to Brigham Young University with plans to study accounting after I serve my mission in Santiago, Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Church, and I would not want it any other way. As a kid, I never understood the importance of church. I enjoyed going, and I made friends doing so, but I never had a true understanding. Even if I am not perfect now, I understand how being a member of this church changes my life. Without it, moments of true happiness would be few and far between. With the church, as long as I am adhering to God's council, I have that true happiness. I have been given much by God: an earth to live on, a country to live in, a family to live together, health to live with, and a church to live for. Because I have been given all of that, I feel the need to give back. My mission to Chile is one way that I can do so. I hope to be able to give to others throughout the rest of my life. I love my God, my Heavenly Father. I love his Son, Jesus Christ. I'm grateful for the Spirit that provides guidance and comfort from them. I love this gospel and know that it is true. If I didn't know this, I wouldn't be leaving my family to serve the people of Chile for two years of my life. I know that you can find out for yourself if you find the missionaries in your area and pray to God, in the name of His Son, to ask if these things are true. I testify you will receive an answer if you are sincere. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

My parents taught me from a young age that going to church every Sunday is important. The Lord gave us a commandment to keep the sabbath day holy, and attending church is the best way to do so. As a missionary, my purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I am an Eagle Scout, which I attained through the Scouting program in the LDS church. I love the feeling of service and helping others.
