Hi I'm Adam Savage

And No not the myth buster Guy. I grew up in the little town of Arco Idaho, I am an outdoor enthusiast and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was young I was one of those kids that always wanted to help and was just there when people needed me, I enjoy serving others. As I got older it seemed that I began to grow a love for two things History and the Outdoors. Both of these became passions of mine. I would often find myself diving into a history book, or going outside and just taking in the natural beauty. I am now serving in the Mesa Arizona mission and I love serving God.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so It has always been a part of my life. It has always felt like the right place for me. Several years ago I made the realization that I was living the gospel without a real Testimony of Jesus Christ. This happened when a couple of my friends decided to no longer live those gospel standards, all of us had grown up having. It was hard to see the decisions they were making. It then became apparent that I find out if these things are true. Since then I have had an increasing Testimony of the Book of Mormon and of Joseph Smith. I know that difficult times lie ahead, I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true.

How I live my faith

Since I was young I went to church with my family, I never really knew why but I enjoyed it. As I grew older I began to grow in leadership positions. I created many relationships while serving with friends and those I loved. One calling that I had entailed planning activities for the Youth, we made sure that the activities were uplifting and fun. Prior to serving my mission I was called to serve in the Primary, nothing will prepare you for life like a bunch of crazy kids, I really enjoyed working with them. Now I spend my time serving God and Others in the Arizona Mesa Mission. When I get off my mission I plan to continue serving others with all of my strength. Faith is an interesting word, its an action word, a word that instills that we will do something in perfect belief even though we don't see the outcome. Faith is having a belief in those things not seen. I live my faith by following Jesus Christ and his Disciples. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that he has suffered for our sins. He has made it possible to live with him and our Eternal Father in Heaven. I also know that Christ has called Prophets to lead us in these latter days. And that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God called to reestablish Christ's church on the earth. As I acted on faith and came to serve a mission not knowing what was in store, I found that I have never been happier. There is nothing more satisfying than serving those around you and serving God.
