Hi I'm Zack

I was born and raised in Texas but no I'm not a cowboy! I lived by the Dallas area witch is fairly urban. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the Gospel but my father was never a member till I was about 14. I grew up going to church with my mom and my 2 sisters while me being the oldest has to take care of them. My father was and is still an amazing man and is so good to us all, just at the time he had not accepted the Gospel yet. Fortunately he is baptized now we have been sealed in the Salt Lake Temple! I love the outdoors and I'm a Cabelas man. I am currently serving a mission in the Washington Yakima Mission. I will be in Idaho attending BYUI this fall, wish me luck!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into this church and learn the things I have from an early age but my true testimony came on my own. After reading for myself the words of the Lord I knew in my heart they were true. I know this church to be true with every bit of me and i will defend it to death. I love how the lord has shaped me into who I am today and i know without Him as prominent as he is in my life that i would be a completely different person without Him. I love my Father and cant wait to return to Him and tell Him I've done the very best I could.

How I live my faith

Being that my father wasn't always a member, I always tried to live my life as a leader so that my father would see the example I was to him. Even though I was his son, i knew i could be one of the biggest influences on him depending on how I lived my life. I tried so hard to be the best I could be and I am so happy that my father at last after 19 years decided to join the church. I went to seminary almost everyday for 4 years at 6 in the morning before school. I think that is an explanation in itself. I have been called as the president of deacons, teachers, and priest quorum and it has definitely helped me become a strong leader. I have loved these last 2 years of my life in complete service to the lord.
