Hi I'm Olivia

I enjoy playing the piano and I love all different kinds of art. I'm outgoing and enjoy meeting new people.

About Me

Drawing has always been a hobby of mine. I also enjoy painting, sculpting, crafts, and other forms of art but drawing is what I like most. Other people's art work interests me. I've played the piano since I was a child. It has become a way for me to relax and express emotion. I like to run, it's difficult most of the time but I like to push myself. I don't like it when others ask me to push myself, however. I aspire to be either a lawyer or an artist in the future. Cleaning is something I like to do. Hard work brings me satisfaction. I am outgoing and always looking to make new friends. I like to listen to other people's stories especially when they have a different culture/history than me. I like getting together with lots of friends and having a good laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who have been members all their lives and love the gospel. I've grown up a member of this church. I continue to attend and support the LDS Church because the teachings give me a fulfilling, happy and peaceful feeling. I love the caring and supportive atmosphere. I have a testimony of the teachings of this gospel. The feeling I get when I attend the temple gives me assurance that what I'm doing is good.

How I live my faith

I love serving others. Jesus Christ spent much of his time helping others, so when I serve others I feel closer to him. I try to brighten other people's day with kind words or a smile. I also want to live by his example. I make an effort to pray to Heavenly Father twice daily, morning and night. I also try to read my scriptures with my family every morning and personally every night. When I pray and read my scriptures I feel guidance from Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I feel much happier when I make these things a priority. I attend church every Sunday and a youth activity every week. I have a responsibility as the secretary for the girls class 16 to 18. I attend Sacrament Meeting to partake of the sacrament, which reminds me to take upon me the name of Christ, always remember him, and try to be like him. I then go to Sunday School to learn and discuss more about Christ. Young Woman is the last class I attend where we talk about what we, as woman, can do to help other members of the LDS Church and discuss church doctrine. Youth activities include both the young men and woman ages 12 to 18. We do service projects together, play sports, learn essential skills for daily life, and more.
