Hi I'm Janessa Christensen

I grew up in Smithfield Utah. I love just about anything outdoors, riding my horse, and everything agriculture. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm hauling hay, riding horses, and moving pipe. I love anything outdoors and everything agriculture. I would rather be outside working than doing anything inside. I love to ride my horse and go camping. I am studying Agriculture Education at Utah State University and plan to teach High School Ag. I was a proud member of the FFA where I enjoyed leadership positions. I showed hogs at our county fair for ten years. I love almost all Disney movies and watch them often. I love to hang out with my friends and family. We have a lot of fires together and ride horses and four wheelers often. I worked at a local country store where I gained all kinds of knowledge about lawn care, animal health, and greenhouse skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home and I am grateful for that. For a long time I relied on my parents testimony but as I have grown up I have found my own. This church has such a great spirit about it and I agree with it's teachings. It has helped me in my life find happiness and such pure joy that I have failed to find anywhere else. I am not Mormon because my family members are, I am a Mormon for me. Because I know that it is true and I have a Savior who loves me and I know Him because of this faith. It helps me each and everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best me I can be. I try to be an example of what I believe in and live my values. I have standards that I hold to no matter what. I do not live these standards because I am told to or forced to but because I want to. I have helped lead a youth group in an activity held every week. I try to help the youth feel the spirit and enjoy the fellowship of the church. I strive to live in a way so that the light of Christ can be seen through me.
