Hi I'm Kenny

I was born in Montana and grew up in Utah. I love sports, fine arts, and making people happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a big variety of hobbies that I enjoy. I love to watch and play sports. I played center on my high school football team, but I also enjoy a good game of pick-up basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc. I enjoy making and admiring art. I love to draw, sketch, and create different characters and scenes on paper with a pencil. I also love singing (especially in a choir), dancing, listening to music, and watching a good play or musical. When it comes down to it, I'm a total geek. I enjoy movies, video games, comics and I am a HUGE fan of Disney. I hope to attend college in the near future and study Animation, Illustration, Graphic Design, and/or Creative Advertising. I love my family, friends, and religion. I also love making people happy, whether it be complimenting them, giving service, or uplifting them through encouragement.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church and was raised to live the standards of the gospel. When I was eight years old, I chose to be baptized into the LDS church. But it wasn't until I was older that I got down on my knees and prayed to God, with a sincere heart, and asked him if this was the true and restored church. I have never had a more powerful feeling and have never been more certain in my life. Heavenly Father had answered my prayer and I felt his unconditional love for me. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of the world, even my sins, and was then crucified so that we could be resurrected at his Second Coming. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that he restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ on this earth today as directed by Heavenly Father. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today and that he has been called by God to receive his revelation. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know it is true and I challenge everyone to read it. It will bless your life just as it has blessed mine. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love every single one of us and care about us. They want us to return to them in their Heavenly Kingdom and have a plan for each and every one of us. I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Living as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is something grew up in and I have found everything good in my life through my faith in Christ. I know that as the perfect example, Our Savior was always serving those around him. I have tried to focus my life around that example. In this church we have so many opportunities to serve, one of which is going abroad and spending two years as a full-time missionary. I have taken this opportunity and I am really enjoying meeting and reaching out to the people of Busan, South Korea. I am not perfect and my Heavenly Father doesn't expect me to be, but I am trying to be better each day! That is when I find happiness, when I try I am blessed.
