Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I love running and learning Chinese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in Utah for most of my life and love hiking, backpacking, swimming in the summer, running cross country in the fall, and racing track in the spring. I also like watching running events and the Olympics. I play the piano and also enjoy reading, writing, and playing board games. I'm planning on serving in the Taiwan, Taipei mission and then attending BYU for college.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the restored gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has answered many of the questions I've had in my life, and it provides me with direction in a confusing world. When I follow the teachings of the church I know I'm doing what is right, and I have greater understanding and love towards those around me. I love this gospel because it brings everyone together through kindness and service, and it helps me to understand who I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings and activities, and by home teaching members of the ward. I regularly study the scriptures and look for opportunities to help out those around me. I have really benefited from home teaching, because it provides me with the opportunity to get to those in the community better and to learn from their perspectives. I have also participated in a lot of service projects and other fun activities in my Young Men activities.
