Hi I'm Connor Wright

I'm a golfer, a tennis player, a student body officer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 3 kids and have a loving father and mother. I have been a Student Body Officer for 3 years and loved every moment of it. I am passionate about playing golf and tennis and enjoy being in the outdoors. I love movies, books, and hanging out with my friends. I also love to smile and laugh and I consider it a success if I can get someone else to do the same. I recently graduated high school and have accepted a mission call to the Korea Daejeon Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a part of this church but there comes a point when you need to discover for yourself what you believe to be right. When Jesus was with the Jews and was questioned about the doctrine he was teaching, he said in John 7:17 "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." So I put God to the test. I accepted the challenge and did what Jesus Christ said and followed His doctrine and His commandments to see if it was of God. I read the Book of Mormon, prayed to know of its truth, lived a life where I was obedient to the things that the church taught and discovered that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a firm testimony that this church is true. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that wants to help us and that is why he has provided a living prophet to this day to help guide us so we can return to Him. I know that Heavenly Father answers our prayers. When I feel lost or misguided I know that Heavenly Father is but a prayer away, eager to show us the way. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has provided such real happiness in my life along with hope and a sense of purpose. I am extremely blessed to see the hand of the Lord in my life and through all this i can proudly say that I am happy to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am now serving as a full time missionary in the Korea Daejeon Mission. I love the happiness that it brings to people's lives. I love sharing the good news of this gospel and letting people know they can be with their families forever. I feel so happy when I give others the opportunity to become more like Jesus Christ and when I can teach them the things Jesus Christ told us to do which would bring us happiness in this life such as: praying morning and night, studying the scriptures, attending church, and keeping his commandments which he gave to us. I do the very best I can in doing those things and thrive off of the opportunities I have to become better. Whenever I receive a calling, I cherish it and perform all the duties of that calling to the best of my abilities.
