Hi I'm Jace

I'm a Mormon and I'm just like you.

About Me

Hi, I am currently serving in the Washington Kennewick Mission. I grew up in Vernal Utah. Wake surfing is one of my favorite hobbies. I have fun no matter what. You make life what it is.. so why not smile? I love to love. Love is the very essence of life. If we can't love one another how can we expect God to love us? I am a normal human being that just happens to be of, and live, the Mormon faith. But it hasn't always been this way, I used to be a very self centered person. It was as if the whole word revolved around me and anyone or anything else was ancillary. And what follows that is a life full of self gratification, always indulging in things that are very carnal in the sight of God. Satan does a marvelous job of making those things look very eye appealing or as if "everyone is doing it. Only through the grace of God and tender mercies of his Son am I on this website making a profile today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have sought out the faith. I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's restored church, not because someone told me so and I believed them, but because I found out for myself and gained and amazing testimony by doing so. I believe in "hard work pays off". If it was easy to be a Mormon I am pretty sure everyone would be one. If God just handed out answers to our questions like candy on Independence Day, we would all be Mormons. He gives us just enough light to see where our next step is. I always say, Moroni's promise is at the back of the Book Of Mormon, not the front, for a reason. Since when was anything worth having, easy to gain?

How I live my faith

I am always trying to progress. And without the gospel to provide the path for me, I feel as if I would be stuck or "woe be unto me". "Change is easy, but progression is far more difficult." - Dr. Porsche There is always room for improvement, we can always be doing something better. And without our Savior this would be impossible. Why? Because when we fall, when we make mistakes, our Savior is there to pick us back up off the ground and say, "It is going to be alright! I am here to help you and make things right." I personally have experienced a mighty change in my life, I have felt these things myself. I have made so much progress only because of this gospel and my savior Jesus Christ. I would be the same selfish man I was if I wouldn't have made the decision to improve myself and to seek out a the right path.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jace
We are only man. Are we expected to do it alone? The answer is no, god sent his only begotten son to provide us a way to purify ourselves on a daily basis. It is so hard to fully comprehend the very essence of the Christ. But we know what he did, what he believed, what he lived, influencing us for eternity. I will personally be eternally grateful for him. Show more Show less
