Hi I'm Kyle

I recently graduated from high-school. I enjoy performing in theatrical productions. I love my friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having been born of awesome parents I have grown up in a loving family setting for my whole life, and I love them. My passions and interests have changed through the years from soccer, to football, to tennis ending up with a mix of theatre and frisbee. In everything I choose to go forth in my family and friends have played a large part in supporting my decisions. After recently have graduated I am currently preparing to serve a two year full mission to Lima, Peru in which I am very excited. After serving the people of Peru my life will begin, I have prepared for eighteen years now for this moment and it is finally coming upon me. Most people beginning something new are often scared or worried in what the future may hold. I like to look at new opportunities as a gift to experience new things special to yourself and no one else, making them truly one of a kind.

Why I am a Mormon

Often at school I have been asked, "why are you a Mormon, Dude?" Usually I just say, because I am, and thats that. In recent years I have decided to broaden my spectrum of why I really am a Mormon, because if I wanted to I could leave at any moment and live my life without the church. For one I have felt both sides of having the Holy Ghost with me, and when the Holy Ghost has left me, and I don't like not having him with me. The Holy Ghost is a constant companion if your faithful, for me sometimes its hard to be faithful to living the commandments and the Lord's teachings, when I could be off having fun somewhere else. But I have decided that living the commandments, while it may be hard is more worth having the Holy Ghost with me more than not. So when the time comes that I'm feeling alone or any other negative feeling, I can tap into the Holy Ghost because he will always be with me if I am faithful to the Lord.

How I live my faith

In my church I love to participate in our youth activities and ward activities. For the Boy scouts we every year do an auction to raise money for our activities during memorial day. It was a pleasure to serve all those who came to eat and buy and at the end sing "Bring Him Home" from les miserables which I thought was a nice touch. Sometimes it is hard for me to express my faith in words or speaking to people, by nature I am shy and introverted. Except when I sing, its as if a new person has burst forth from my very soul and came out to preach my faith instead of me having to say it. I have often been told (especially by older people) that I have a wonderful voice and a treat to hear me, I always brush that aside because comments positive or negative make me uncomfortable. Recently I have been thinking on this and I know that it is the Spirit of God that is singing through me when I sing for church or whatever else. It is truly a wonderful experience to be in touch with that spirit, but even more so when I sing.
