Hi I'm Brad Harmon

I'm a Mormon - member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I Live in the Columbia River Gorge.

About Me

I love the Northwest, the trees, the big sky, the sun and the rain. I've lived in the Columbia River Gorge for 20 years now. I'm the father of 3 children and married to my wife of 30 years. We both work from home now, so I guess it's a good thing we still enjoy each others company. Most of my church service has been in the Young Men's program in one form or another.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the sixth generation. Even though I was raised in the faith I still had to learn it's value and truth. I picked the hard-way to do that, by leaving it for a short time as a young adult. I found my life has more value and freedom when I live by the teachings of the restored gospel. It's not easy, but it is worth it.

How I live my faith

My faith helps me live with more hope and purpose. Much of my service in the church has involved teaching gospel principles to the youth of the church. I see so much hope and potential in the young men and women I get to serve.
