Hi I'm Jem

I grew up in the city. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I see myself as a typical girl who goes to college and who loves to read. I'm the youngest of 3 children.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was a little girl, I kept on wondering and thinking about my faith. My family never failed in bringing me to Church whenever it's Sunday or there's an activity. I had a borrowed testimony. I didn't understand it then until I became a Young Woman. I searched for answers to my questions. Why do I have to follow the standards? What will I benefit from it? This and that. What I did was I read a lot. I studied the scriptures and other gospel essentials, most especially the Book of Mormon. I diligently prayed about it. (Moroni 10:4 and D&C 88:63-64) Everything turned out well and I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

How I live my faith

I've always loved the saying that every member is a missionary, regardless if you serve full-time or not. I can be one by just serving other people, by sharing my testimony, and by staying true and firm to the standards of the Church. I'm a ward missionary and I find it refreshing and fulfilling to accompany the full-time missionaries and members.
