Hi I'm Tommie English

I love music and Drum Corps. I am attending BYU-Idaho and majoring in technical theater. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in the same place I was born with my two brothers and my sister to two wonderful parents. Throughout my life I always had a passion for music. I took piano lessons for 12 year and I also play the bassoon and saxophone among other things. In high school I was actively involved in the marching, jazz and concert band programs being president of the entire band my Junior year. I also participated in Drum Corps for a season and it was the greatest thing I've ever done. I have also always been fascinated with theatre. Throughout high school I worked at my community theatre doing lighting and sound. I now attend Brigham Young University in Idaho. I am majoring in technical theatre and minoring in communications. My dream job is to someday be a roadie for a band.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church. I have grown up with m parents strong testimonies along with other influential people in my life. In high school I had a really tough time staying in the church and having a strong testimony. I continue to follow this gospel because I know I will receive blessings from being strong and being an influential person to those around me.

How I live my faith

While a youth in the church I was also very active in musical programs. I always tried to involve my musical abilities into my church callings. Every calling I have had I always incorporate music. I personally always feel the spirit through music and it is what keeps me strong.
