Hi I'm Allison

I grew up in Idaho. I am a big sister. I am a volleyball player and a clogger. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student who is currently pursuing a career as a physical therapist. l love volleyball and was lucky enough to continue playing after high school on my college team. Any time I can get my hands on a volleyball, I am happy! I also love playing and watching pretty much any other sport, especially football. I have clogged for 9 years and have those fast moving, happy feet! I am a movie lover. I love learning and expanding my mind! I love school! Most importantly, however, I love my family. I am the oldest of four kids and love my little brother and sisters. My family means everything to me and I would do anything for them. They truly are my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in small town Idaho, being a part of a active family is not unusual. I was raised around amazing people who helped me grow strong and gain a testimony. I never doubted the church but through my life experiences I have come to know that this church is true. When I went to college, my faith was to put to the test and I had to really decide for myself that I wanted to continue growing my faith in Christ and what I personally felt like I needed to do to be the best person I could be. Through a lot of scripture study and prayer and attending church with a positive attitude, I decided that this church is what I really need in my life and that this is the only way I can have a lasting joyand am so grateful to have knowledge of this gospel and to be a part of this amazing church. I know that this church is true and that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Because of His sacrifice I can repent and help return to live with my Heavenly Father. I know that with the Plan of Salvation my family can be together forever. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel and that he truly was a prophet called by God and that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet here on the earth today. I know that if we pray and ask with faith that Heavenly Father will hear and answer our prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I love this gospel, and am grateful for the callings and positions I have been able to hold. Right now, I am currently a missionary serving in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia mission. It has been the most joyful experience I have ever had and I have grown so much! I have also served as president of my young women's group and as a Sunday school teacher.
