Hi I'm Kendra

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I like to sing and play sports, and read! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a small town, I love to go outside and go hiking and swimming with my friends and family when i get the chance! I have gone to college for a couple semesters but then finances got tough and I had to stop for a while. During that time I found a job as a nanny in my area. I loved working with those beautiful children! I love those children so so much, but i am taking a break from all of this to serve my lord and savior while I go on a mission for 18 months in the beautiful countryside of Indiana.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Good question. I probably wouldn't be one if it wasn't for the genuine faith of my grandfather and the courage of his friend who told him about the Mormon church while my grandfather was at basic training camp during WWII. I am a Mormon because I feel Christ's love for me and I love that I can always be made clean through his atonement. I know that I of ALL people am far far FAR away from perfect. I bear witness that this is the true church of God. I know without a doubt that Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father in the Sacred Grove. I know that the Book of Mormon is inspired of God and that it is meant for us in our lives so we can be guided by its teachings. I also know that families can be together forever. I hope that everyone can receive of this peace in their hearts and draw closer to their Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I wake up (6:15) and the first thing that I do is say my personal prayers and then read my scriptures. After I eat some breakfast and then get ready for my day. Even throughout the day I try to be the best me that I can be and know that God loves me. One way that I can do my part in helping others in being loving and helping them with the door when their hands are full, or just giving everyone I see a smile. Believe it or not it does make them feel better! At least I think so! By doing that i just need to be myself and love the lord.
