Hi I'm Jake

I grew up in Manhattan and Utah. I enjoy playing frisbee and guitar. I am a full time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started a frisbee team at my high school and play soccer. I also started a Chinese club at my high school. I plan on attending attending college and researching cancer. I also like to play the guitar and sing, especially in musicals. I'm in the Provo Missionary Training Center right now and in six weeks I'm going to go to Daejeon Korea to preach the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (a Mormon) because I have gained a testimony of Jesus Christ and his Atonement. I know that he died for all of our sins, and that although "all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), we can all be forgiven as we come to Christ and are perfected in him. I am also a Mormon because I want to be together forever with my family, and know that temple sealing and baptism are necessary for me to reach this goal. Because I have this testimony and the many blessings the gospel has brought into my life I want to share what I know to be true with others. This is why I'm serving a two year mission in Korea.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week and read the scriptures and pray every day. I attend the temple once a week. I am serving a full time mission in Korea right now. All my time and efforts are focused on helping Heavenly Father's children recognize the truth of the gospel.
