Hi I'm David Moreno

I'm serving in the Mexico, Tijuana mission. I love science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mexico and moved to Utah when I was one and have lived here all my life. I enjoy sports, exercise and being with my friends. I've been blessed to live my life in a bi-cultural home and have learned a lot about different kinds of people. I've recently received my mission call back to Mexico to serve in the Tijuana Mission and will be reporting to the Provo MTC on Oct. 15, 2014. After my mission I plan on going to college in Utah and receiving a degree in biochemistry or something along those lines.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have seen what it can do in this life and I've felt the peace and happiness it can bring. I've also been able to see the differences in others lives who don't have the church or who have left it and from all that, I definitely know that this church is the most true church on this planet and I'm so thankful for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to those around me. I've had some very good examples to myself which include every member of my close family. Some may think that because I live in Utah, the Mormon Mecca, there is very little use of an example when there are members all around you, but that is very wrong. Everyone has different strengths that they can exemplify and influence others around them. Having a rather outgoing personality I was usually a leader among my friends so the need to be a a good example has always been important to me. I've always tried to be an example of understanding and intelligence. I hope that I have been able to help others through my example and that I will continue to do so.
