Hi I'm Hannah

I was born and raised in Utah, I'm the oldest of five kids, and a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have just finished my freshman year at Utah State University (Political Science major). I'm 19 years old and I have a passion for the arts, I love to sing, exercise, read good books, watch movies, and sleep! I am the oldest of five kids (three sisters and one brother) and now gaining a new brother-in-law!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church. Both of my parents are active members, and just part of growing up for me, as a general rule, was going to church every Sunday! But that's not the entire reason why I'm a Mormon… throughout my childhood I was taught going to church was the right thing to do, and that it will bring me happiness. This was just a simple habit for me then. As I got older and went through junior high and high school where my personal beliefs were challenged, that is where I really started to question myself and if I really do believe the gospel and it's principles I've been living my whole life. I find that when you question things, and sincerely try to find the answer that seems most true to you, that is when you grow, and answers come to you. I've also come to find that putting my own faith in God and asking Him personally through prayer if all of what I have learned and lived is true, that has made all the difference. Gaining that testimony is so important to me; even just knowing that there is a God who knows you and loves you brings a comfort to me that I know I cannot live without. All that this brings is absolute love toward people, and everlasting true happiness.

How I live my faith

I have a personal motto… "Live so that those who don't know Christ will want to know Him because they know you." My faith is so important to me, because it is ultimately my way of living and being. I do not drink or take anything that would be harmful to my body. I pray as often as I can, and try to be of service to others through following Christ's example. I don't do this because I'm told to, I do this because this is what makes me truly happy!
