Hi I'm Brian

I'm a college student trying to find my place in the world. I want to become a force for good. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a passionate college student trying to understand the world and myself inside it. I appreciate learning about different cultures and the diversity of our world. I spent two years with the Filipino people in their native land for an LDS mission. And while I see so much good in the world, I can't help but see the suffering and the trials and the struggles that we as humans face. And because of that I want to become a force for positive change and betterment of this world that we live in.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the peace and happiness that I have gained from this church are indescribable. I have realized that God truly loves me, and knows me, and that He has a plan for me, and that plan is much better than anything I ever could have conceived for my life on my own. As I continue to study the Gospel and learn more about this church, my testimony of it is strengthened and I know that it is truly God's church upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

Faith I believe is to be shown by action. Sometimes we ask ourselves the hard questions of whether we truly believe in something and how we can determine that. For me, my faith is shown by the life I live. I pray. I search the Lord's revealed word. However imperfect I am, I try to obey the Lord's will. I make mistakes and I try to change and repent of those mistakes. I try and serve my fellow man and bless and strengthen and inspire others. I spent two years in the Philippines trying to help others come closer to Jesus Christ. And so when I ask myself the question "Do I believe?" I see these actions and once again realize that I really do believe and I love this faith that I have developed in my life and want to share it with those around me.
