Hi I'm Krista Alford

I'm a biology student, triathlete, and an aspiring lawyer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University studying Conservation Biology. I absolutely adore doing anything outdoors, and I would spend all day hiking if I could. I started doing triathlons last year and got completely addicted! One of my favorite feelings is the burn you feel after an awesome workout. I love reading, writing, playing the piano, and hanging out with friends. I plan to attend law school and practice environmental law.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it countless times since I was young, and each time I feel the spirit and grow closer to God. I know that my church is led by a prophet of God, and as I have followed the church's teachings, my life has been blessed immeasurably. But most of all, I am a Mormon because of the happiness it brings into my life!

How I live my faith

Reading my scriptures and praying daily is how I keep my faith strong. I am also strengthened by my friends and leaders when I am able to go to church each Sunday. Every time I take the sacrament, I am reminded of Christ's sacrifice for me, and I resolve to repent of my sins and do better each week. My faith provides me the hope of overcoming my faults and one day returning to live with God.
