Hi I'm Matthew

I've lived in four different states thus far in my life. I have recently graduated high school. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I have recently graduated high school as a Senior Class President. I love playings sports, especially basketball, soccer, volleyball, and football. I am the oldest kid in a good sized mixed family, but not the tallest. :) My family is one of the most important things I have in my life, none of us are perfect, but we stick together. I love music and had participated in various school choirs, including an A Capella group, show or dancing choir, and madrigal group. Life isn't easy, but I know it always has light in it. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this Church all my life. As I have continued through each day and each trial in my life, I have had a growing love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And through this love, I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Church has the fullness of the Gospel. Jesus Christ established a church that had a prophet, apostles, local clergy, all of which were called or chosen by God and served in their callings without pay. His Church had the Priesthood, the power by which Christ healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out devils, and taking upon Him the sins of the world. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the same exact attributes that existed in the Church that Christ established during His ministry. This Church was restored through revelation from God and Jesus Christ and through the power of the Priesthood.

How I live my faith

I will be leaving to be a missionary here very soon. I love the Gospel and have witnessed blessings from putting the Gospel and the Lord's game plan for me before my own wants and desires. By doing so, I have been able to learn and become so much more than I could have ever become if left to my own designs.
