Hi I'm Tarah Lee

I grew up in Southern Utah. I attended Utah Valley University and have been called as a missionary to Merida Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Coming from a large family with divorced parents isn't exactly normal and it sure isn't easy, but the light of Christ brightened up even the darkest of times as I went through this trial. I have been attending Utah Valley University working towards my degree to eventually become a physical therapist. I love being outdoors and enjoying God's creations. Whether it be out on the lake with the cool water splashing me or hiking through gorgeous canyons, the invigorating outdoors is where I find my solace.

Why I am a Mormon

Luckily for me I was born in the covenant, meaning that I have been a member for my whole life and my parents are both members and were sealed in the temple. When I went away to college is when I truly had to rely on my own testimony that Jesus Christ lives. He loves us so much that he was willing to die for me, to go above and beyond for me so that it would be possible for me, for everyone, to return to our loving Heavenly Father. We have been placed on Earth so that we may grow through the hard times, as well as the good times. We are here gaining experience, exploring our talents and using them to help out one another because we are all in the same boat. It is because of great friends that have lent a hand out to me as I was away at college that I was able to make the decision to serve a mission. Because of their examples and testimonies mine has been strengthened and I wish to be the rock for others to lean on as well.

How I live my faith

As a single adult it's hard to become a part of your ward when people move in and out at a rate that makes their faces seem like a blur. But since I've moved home I have been called as a primary worker to help young children learn of Christ and his teachings.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Tarah Lee
We need a savior, specifically Jesus Christ, so that when we sin we are covered. Without our Savior Jesus Christ, we wouldn't be able to be forgiven and offered mercy because justice would have to be served. With our savior, both justice and mercy are possible. Show more Show less
