Hi I'm Rebecca

I am serving in the Vancouver Washington mission. I love to smile and laugh. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a cancer survivor and I just finished my first year of college majoring as an Mechanical engineer. I love to be involved the best I can and love making others feel loved! I also love pineapples and love to be outdoors. I am currently on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, preparing to teach in American Sign Language in Vancouver Washington. I love to laugh and smile at everything even if it's not that funny.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have come to know for myself that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ and this is his church. I have found through all the studying and preparing that I have done that the Book of Mormon is true and it is truly a guide for us at this time because the Lord knew what we needed to hear at this point of time with all the confusion going on in this world. I have found that when I pray to my Heavenly Father that he gives me the courage and strength to do all the things that are needed for me to do. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and he knows all that we go through because he has felt it for himself, and through him I can live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

There is not a single moment where I do not like smiling! I have found that smiles not only help me to see how much the Lord has done for me but it also helps others to see that they are important to our heavenly father too. One of the things that I have had a chance to do lately is called heart attacking. This is when you simply put hearts all over someone's door and I have found that even something as simple as that can show someone that they are loved. I am also going to be serving an 18 month mission in Washington and I find that in that way I can do the best serve my heavenly father at this time by doing what he needs me to do.
