Hi I'm Dillon

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. I'm going to France as a missionary for the LDS church.

About Me

I have spent a year at Utah State. I am majoring in statistics. I love to spend time outdoors. I love going 4-wheeling, boating or hiking with my family. Recently, I received a mission call to serve in Paris, France and will be teaching the restored gospel there for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many aspects of the church I love. It has been great to grow up in the environment that it creates. The values it teaches has kept me out of a lot of trouble that I otherwise would have gotten into. I hope to one day be able to raise my own family in the gospel. Its leaders care for me and I believe they can be inspired by the spirit to help me both physically and spiritually. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon. Often times I have found the answers to my own personal prayers inside its pages. I know that words written by a man alone could not do this. They are the words of prophets.

How I live my faith

Until recently I have been in a ward specifically for young single adults going to college. It has been a big change from the ward that I grew up in. It was fun to be with people my own age. Everyone was given responsibilities to help maintain and improve the ward and building. I was in charge of making sure the building was locked at night and organizing people to clean once every eight weeks. I actually liked having a job in the ward it helped me feel closer to the congregation.
