Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I just got my mission call to the Piura, Peru Mission. I cant wait to serve the lord!

About Me

I'm 17 years old and just graduated High School. I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown belt. I plan on pursuing a career as a Physical Therapist after serving my Mission in Peru. I loved attending seminary for all 4 years of high school. My dad is a Gunnery Sgt. in the Marine Corps. He served for 23 years. He was baptized when he was 32 years old. My mom served a mission in Wisconsin. They were married and sealed in the Los Angles temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the opportunity to be baptized when I was 8 years old. I'm grateful for my parents testimonies but, even more so grateful for my testimony. One of the ways I have found my own testimony is by living basic gospel principals. Some of the biggest ways my life has been blessed is by following the word of wisdom, the law of chastity, and serving others. Through my high school years I could see the importance, and benefit of keeping these standards. Keeping these standards keeps my life centered around Christ. I find happiness and stability through the examples I have around me and the high standard I am expected to keep. I am grateful for the atonement in my life and the love Christ has for me.

How I live my faith

One way I try to live my faith is though not being afraid to speak about it daily.I teach Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, all of my students know about my mission call, seminary attendance, mutual activites, and overall excitement to serve my mission. Many of my students have come to church activities, from baptisms, ward parties, other church activities, even going to the Gilbert Temple Cultural Celebration, and walking through the Gilbert Temple during the open house. All of them are excited and proud of me. No matter what their faith, they see that I am literally going to live my faith in Peru for 2 years.
