Hi I'm Cole

I love chemistry, biosciences, physics, and robotics. I'm a lifeguard and swim instructor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent high school honors graduate. I've always loved to learn new things, but my favorite subjects in school were always the math and sciences. I took a year of physics, two years of biology, two years of chemistry, and my highest level math class was calculus BC. While in high school I was also enrolled in medicine and biosciences classes at my local tech school. Through this school I was able to participate in the FIRST robotics competition. I had always been good with tools and machines so this was a great opportunity for me to develope more engineering skills and express my creativity in problem solving situations. I have moved twice in three years; starting in a small town in Nebraska, then moving to Houston, Texas, I've finally ended up in a small town in Oklahoma and I love it. Through these moves I learned that small towns are perfect for all of my favorite activities. I love to go hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, shooting, geocaching, biking, and pretty much anything else outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel blessed that I was born and raised in the church. As I have grown up and gone through high school I have seen the difference that the gospel of Jesus Christ has made in my life when I see the struggles of those without. The guidelines that I live my life by each day have served as protection from harm not only spiritually, but physically and emotionally as well. The knowledge and understanding that comes with the true gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace and joy to my life. I have seen the blessings that come from living a life in tune with the words of Christ and I have witnessed the miracles only possible because of a true authority to work in the name of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ that he is my Lord and Savior.

How I live my faith

I have strived to serve my community for many years. I am an Eagle Scout, I served on the school improvement committee for my local tech center, and I have served as a counsellor in my youth group multiple times over the past six years. My father and I have served others together as we have been companions for hometeaching since I was twelve years old. On July 16th of 2014 I am leaving for a mission trip to England to serve the Lord and his people there. I will be spending the next two years of my life giving service to others, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and bearing my testimony of the truthfulness of the Bible and of Book of Mormon.
