Hi I'm Hailey Belnap

I was born in a small town, and raised in a big church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I am always up for almost any outdoor activity. One of my favorite things to do is hike! I also enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, spelunking (cave exploring), rock climbing, repelling, rafting, swimming ect... I am the 3rd of five girls in my family, so I had the best of both worlds with two older sisters and two younger sisters. My two younger sisters both have disabilities. One has downs syndrome and the other has autism. Both of them have amazing souls and have taught me many of life's lessons. I am working at a doctor's office full time and I will be starting up online collage classes again this fall. I have been working on getting my helicopter pilot's license for a few years and am really close to getting it! I teach horseback riding to children with disabilities on the weekends. I hope one day to make that my full time job and then fly on the weekends. I have lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic migraines, a connective tissue disorder, a blood clotting disorder, and as a kid I even had epilepsy. That makes getting my pilot's license tricky but I'm not giving up!

Why I am a Mormon

A big part of the reason I am a member of the Church is because I had great parents and leaders who helped me build good habits. They taught me to study the scriptures and to pray. Doing those two things every day is how I built my relationship with God. I came to personally know and love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. They are my truest friends, they're the ones who have always been there for me even when I didn't deserve it. I want so desperately to make them proud. I want to be with them. I choose to live my life the way that I do, so that I can show my love for them. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I plan and present lessons for some Sunday meetings. I assign and train other teachers. I counsel with church leaders concerning the welfare of the members. I help plan and carry out activities for the young adults. I visit women that I am assigned to at least once a month to make sure that their spiritual and physical needs are being met, as well as to just be a friend. I try my best to live my life in line with God's commandments and help others to do the same.
