Hi I'm Em

I'm a Mormon and I wouldn't have it any other way! Family, temple work, scripture study and smiles are some of my favorite things!

About Me

Growing up I moved from small town to small town because my dad was in the Army. I was adopted when I was a baby into a wonderful family that I love with all my heart. My sister and I are eleven years apart and I have a great brother in law and nephew thanks to her! My dad is my best friend and we both love sports and go to games every chance we can. I go to school and Brigham Young University-Idaho and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Lord. He has given me everything, literally. My family can be together for eternity and I love them more than words can express and it is a great to know that I will be with them forever. Being Mormon comes with many issues in today's society, however, it has made me into a better person. It has made me stronger, more open to people, and taught me how to love everyone no matter their circumstance. The prophet on the earth today is the Lord's mouthpiece and listening to him is a priority. The Lord loves me and I love the Lord. I am a Mormon because being a worthy, faithful daughter of God is my only way back into His presence.

How I live my faith

Every day there is a new challenge or trial in my life. I cherish the opportunity to improve myself and grow through my trials. I have learned to embrace them and realize that they are not stumbling blocks, but stepping stones to a greater, better me. I read the scriptures daily to help get my day started and I go to the temple any time my schedule allows. I also love to read books that are written by the general authorities because I feel they write for our time specifically and give amazing insights. I have also made it a point to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir daily to make sure the Spirit is with me as often as possible. Knowing the gospel is one thing, but I believe living the gospel shows your true love for Christ.
