Hi I'm Ali Bartholomew

I love cheeseburgers, traveling, Art Nouveau, live music and cats. But most of all, I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty one years old and I love life and everything it has to offer. I'm currently attending University to obtain a degree in Art History so I can fulfill my life long dream of working in the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a Curator in New York City. I will be serving a LDS mission in Chile speaking in the Spanish language. I love music. Attending live concerts compares to Christmas morning. My family is everything. I am who I am because of them. I am in love with this earth. I have the worst case of wanderlust ever. Fun Fact: I am very talented at jumping on pogo sticks. I love to read, my favorite books are Harry Potter and To Kill A Mocking Bird. Last but not least.. I'll have a double double with grilled onions and extra spread please.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing else on this earth will bring me more happiness. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet. Because of him my life has a purpose. Because of him I am able to have eternal life and live with my father in heaven again. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I am a Mormon because of prayer. I know that God hears and answers my prayers. I have prayed about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Book of Mormon and it was confirmed to me through the Holy Ghost that its teachings are true. I am a Mormon because I know God lives and that he loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a disciple of Jesus Christ. By doing simple things such as praying and reading scriptures everyday I am able to come closer to the Savior and feel peace and happiness in my life. I have been called to serve as a Missionary in the Santiago Chile Mission. I cannot wait to serve the people of Chile everyday and teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ.
