Hi I'm Brent Judd Rowley

I grew up on a farm in Basin City Washington. I like the outdoors and to play sport. I am 6 of 8 in my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the sixth child out of eight children. My family likes to go to our cabin on the weekends as much as possible. I live on an orchard farm where we grow tart cherries, sweet cherries, apricots, peaches, pears, apples, asparagus, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and other fruits. I love working on the farm. My family likes to have family get together's with all of our cousins that live near us. I am an Eagle Scout. I have participated in boy scouts ever since I was a cub scout at the age of eight.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents are, and they have been taking me and my family to church as long as I can remember. So at the age of accountability which is eight I chose to be baptized like all of my siblings and parents. I am a Mormon because I chose to follow Christ's footsteps and be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then Receiving the higher priesthood (Melchizedek priesthood) through the laying on of hands, and my endowments when I went through the temple. The reason I have done all of these things because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the modern day prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ that was on the earth when Christ was on the earth. I know the Book of Mormon true. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and that he suffered on the cross for all of us so we could be clean a gain. I know that he lives, that he was resurrected and broke the bands of death, so that when we die that is not the end , and because of that we can live with him again.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. I was baptized when I was eight. At the age of twelve I was a president of the deacons quorum, at age fourteen I was the president of the teacher's quorum, at age sixteen I was the secretary of the priest quorum and them the second assistant. I have been home teaching ever since I was fourteen with my dad to four different families. It has been a blessing to grow up in the church so I haven't had to face things like drugs, alcohol, and other bad things. I participate in all of the service projects we did through the church and community. I have helped with many Eagle Scout Projects including my own where I built six picnic tables for the Basin City Park.
