Hi I'm Aaron

I like to explore new places, swimming, and board games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Soon I will be serving a mission in the Taiwan Taichung Mission. I enjoy math and science. After my mission I plan on going to college at BYU Idaho studying physics and engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so at a very young age I heard stories and lessons from the scriptures. When I was little I did the things that the church teaches because that was what my family did. When I got older I began to study the scriptures and ask questions on my own. I began to see that there was no possible way that there couldn't be a God. Because I know that we have a heavenly father that loves us, I know that he has a plan for us. I have used Christ's great atonement. I know without a doubt that anyone can be forgiven of any sin no matter how big or how small. I see the atonement as one of the greatest gifts that has ever been given.

How I live my faith

In my ward I bring the sacrament to a nearby rest home. I also bring the sacrament to people that are unable to make it to church due to physical disabilities.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Baptism is a necessary ordinance in order to return to our father in heaven. We do baptisms for the dead so that those that didn't have the opportunity to be baptized while they were alive on the Earth can be able to live with our heavenly father who loves us. Show more Show less
