Hi I'm Chase

I was born in Boise, ID to two loving parents. I've grown up in Idaho my whole life. I love music and drama. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Chase. I love playing musical instruments especially the Clarinet. I've played in a Marching Band in High School. I also really enjoy Musical Theater. I performed as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast Jr. Musical, and helped build the sets for it. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends and going on dates with pretty girls. I work at the YMCA as a lifeguard and have made many rescues. I have 4 younger brothers and love them very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that he is my Savior, and that he allows me to return to Heaven. I know that with this gospel, I can be with my family forever. I believe that I need to be clean and righteous throughout my life so that I can feel the Spirit of God in my life consistently.

How I live my faith

I attend the YSA (Young Single Adult) Ward on Sunday every week. I am the technology specialist in my ward and I upload pictures onto our ward website.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

To become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you are encouraged to talk to the missionaries. The missionaries are members who choose to come out and teach the Gospel to the Lord's people. They will teach the basics principles of the church so that you can learn and grow closer to Heavenly Father and his son, the Savior, Jesus Christ. Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Yes! Jesus Christ loves all his children and so he appeared to his followers in ancient America. He continued to bring forth miracles, taught the gospel, and blessed their families. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

We are not required to serve a mission. However, many young 18 to 19-year-olds choose to put aside schooling and marriage to serve in the church. Missionaries are not paid for serving. In fact, many of them pay their own way. The missionaries desire to serve because they love God and desire to show it by sharing the Gospel to his people. Show more Show less

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

I wear what I call my "Sunday Best." I wear a white shirt and tie with a Suit. I believe that doing so shows respect to my Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. It is the Lord's church and so I have a desire to show my respect to him when I'm there. Christmas is actually one of my favorite Holidays! I always remember that Christmas is about remembering my Savior, Jesus Christ's, birth. Show more Show less
