Hi I'm Rebecca Stromberg

Super happy Utahn that loves to travel the world, laugh a lot & meet new people! Serving in China Hong Kong. I love being a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest and only girl of 5 children. I love spending time with my crazy family, playing soccer, traveling, learning about everyone I meet, playing board games or just being around happy people. I am serving the people of China Hong Kong for 18 months in October 2014. I am a future Texas A&M Aggie Engineering student and I love to travel the world that Heavenly Father has given me! If you need a friend... I volunteer!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and grew up in the Church. It really is a blessing to me everyday. I wasn't really sure for myself if this was the only true church until I was about 17 when I started searching for myself. Through reading the Book of Mormon, Bible and Doctrine & Covenants I now know for myself that this Church is the only true and living Church. I am reassured every time I read the scriptures. I love having this own knowledge for myself. Recently, I have been called to serve a mission in the China Hong Kong mission. I cannot wait to teach the people of Hong Kong the gospel of Jesus Christ and let them know what makes me so happy to me a member! I am serving from October 2014 - April 2016.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others. It makes for a happy heart and life. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It really makes my life complete and less confusing. I know what Heavenly Father has a plan in store for me, that He loves and knows me personally and that Christ is always there for even the smallest mistakes. I love knowing that God and Jesus Christ live and still live to this day. I live my faith everyday with keeping the light of Christ in my life. I love serving as a Stake Genealogist in my local Stake and Ward - learning more about my ancestors and how they lived the gospel of Jesus Christ in even the hardest of times.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Rebecca Stromberg
No, we love to help everyone around us. Often if some of our fellowmen are in need like in the case of a natural disaster we are always open and willing to help. The Mormon Helping Hands have helped over millions of people in need, both Christians and non-Christians. Joseph Smith himself taught that we are to "feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all." We are always willing to serve those around us with big smiles and love:) Show more Show less
