Hi I'm Will

I am a Christian. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints nick named the Mormons.

About Me

I live in Family Town U.S.A. - Orem, Utah. Utah is a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family. My wife and I are empty nesters after raising 6 children. We spend much of our time with our married children and enjoy their family experiences and our grandchildren. We are active in our church and believe in the value of service. I’m retired from the criminal justice system where I had many unusual experiences in dealing with troubled people. I am now pursuing opportunities in the private sector. I think everyone should write a book and I recently checked that one off on my bucket list. I love education and received a Master’s degree in public administration. On weekends, my wife and I ride our horses in Utah’s back country. We take lots of pictures to share our adventures. We especially like riding in Moab, Bryce Canyon, and in the majestic canyons of the Wasatch mountains. Our horses’ names are Gabriel and Max. They have turned out to be great companions. I hope you will come to Utah and experience the amazing world of God’s scenic wonders.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I’m a Mormon. My ancestors sacrificed much in the 1800’s to leave their homes in England and travel to a new wilderness world in Utah as part of the great pioneer migration. I feel blessed and recognize that I owe them much for their sacrifices and their testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have gained my own testimony of His mission and His truths. My testimony keeps me grounded. I feel like I have a solid moral compass regarding what is right and wrong in an unstable world. I believe in Christ’s scriptures and His prophets both ancient and modern day. I believe in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They are great gifts to all mankind and are written to help us today. I know that Jesus is the Christ and I’m grateful for His atonement which can heal us, protect us, wash away our sins, and bring justice to an unjust world.

How I live my faith

I believe in the Golden Rule to treat others as you would have them treat you. In other words, I think giving respect to others is important, regardless of who they are or where they come from. This is based on my belief that we are all brothers and sisters in the family of God. I sincerely wish the best for all people and hope that they have the chance to experience living the gospel of Christ. I feel a deep obligation to teach and serve others in our home, community, and on the job. I believe that the Constitution of the United States is a divinely inspired document and a blessing for all the people of the world. As a Christian, I feel a duty to support the Constitution. I also feel strongly about finding and supporting good men and women to protect our political freedoms and liberties. As a youth, I served a full time, two year, proselyting mission in North Carolina. I made many good friends both within and without the Church. After retiring I plan on serving another mission with my wife. I like the idea of serving in New Zealand. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how that works out. If you are still reading my profile I invite you to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Book of Mormon. You won’t be disappointed and this may be the most important thing you do in this life. Really! May the Lord bless you and your family.
