Hi I'm Deborah

I am the mother of 7, the wife of a combat Veteran and an experienced personal trainer. I am Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 sons and 3 daughters. 3 are grown and live successful lives. I spent over 20 years training people in gyms around the country and overseas. I have lived in 8 states and in Germany as my husband was Active Duty Army serving as an Infantryman. He medically retired recently and we stayed in KY because we found this to be a beautiful, friendly and quiet place to live. I enjoy exercising daily, cooking and baking and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I found through reading the Book of Mormon and prayer that it is another testimony of Jesus Christ our Savior. I have always considered myself a Christian and follower of Christ but there always seemed to be something missing. Ironically I had been taught that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) was a false church and when I finally met a Mormon I was very much against hearing the message. Eventually I had Missionaries come to my house as my husband wanted to visit. This was over 13 years ago and to this day I can remember how warm I felt when they came into my home.I could not resist hearing their message. After many weeks of lessons, reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and praying I knew that their message was true. I was baptized along with the rest of my family. I love this church and this Gospel in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I teach the 12/13 year old youth in Sunday school. I have always enjoyed teaching and spent many years teaching in Primary and the last 3 years teaching the youth. I can't think of a better way for me to serve than helping young people learn the truthfulness of the Lord's Gospel. I also participate in my Ward's Choir. It has been a blessing to me and my family, some of whom also sing in choir. It has helped mend my heart when it was in mourning. I can feel the Spirit when we sing and it really touches my hear.
